Denny Hamlin talks about fire at Daytona 500
NASCAR’S Denny Hamlin joined the show to talk about last night’s Daytona 500.
Hamlin weighed in on the truck that caught on fire. “That was one of the more explosive things I’ve ever seen happen on that track,” Hamlin said.
Hamlin said that they stood around and chatted during the break, and lobbied NASCAR to bring us a pizza.
Hamlin said that there is typically a lot of “carnage” at the Daytona 500 because it’s such a big race and everyone goes for it.
Hamlin said he likes night racing and that at some point, NASCAR should consider weekday races — especially if the numbers were good last night.
Hamlin promised a race simulator for the ManCave as well.
