Bob Kravitz says Colts, Manning parting ways a ‘no-brainer’

Indianapolis Star columnist Bob Kravitz joined the show to talk about the Colts and Peyton Manning parting ways.

Kravitz said this decision was a “no-brainer” for both sides. Manning doesn’t want to be on a bad team with no offensive line. The Colts can’t turn to Manning with nothing around him.

Kravitz talked about the challenges facing Andrew Luck in Indy: “Not only to follow a legend. But to be viewed by some ignorant fans as the man who precipitated the end of the Peyton Manning era.”

Here’s how Kravitz thinks the fans in Indy should react: “Throw two parades. One for Peyton manning. Two, you’re getting Andrew “Freakin'” Luck.”

Kravitz said he did hear Manning is throwing much better these days. He pointed out that Jim Irsay has access to medical records we don’t have. And Kravitz said Irsay thinks Peyton is one hit away from being done.
