Brandel Chamblee: Tiger turnaround would mean record ratings

Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee joined the show to talk about Tiger Woods’ win at Bay Hill.

Chamblee was impressed and thinks that Tiger should be the favorite at the Masters now.

Chamblee also commented on Hank Haney’s book. Like Dan, he’s surprised that Haney would reveal some of that stuff. Chamblee said that he think coaches take too much credit for Tiger’s success. “It’s not the swing,” Chamblee said. “It’s not the coach. It’s not the swing. It’s the man.”

Chamblee said if Tiger turns it around, that would have a hug effect on golf. “If Tiger wins two or there more championships,” Chamblee said, “the ratings … I don’t know if they’ll ever approach football, but they’re going to be astronically high if he approaches 17 or 18 majors.”
