Tom Verducci says Dodgers fans should be excited about sale
Sports Illustrated’s Tom Verducci joined the show to talk about the Dodgers sale.
“I think you can look forward to a better run organization,” Verducci said. “A safer place to go see a game. And a better payroll to work with.”
Verducci said the Dodgers are going to be major player in free agency moving forward and Dodgers fans can start dreaming about Cole Hamels.
Verducci explained that local television money has changed in the sport over the last three years since the Rangers cut their deal.
Verducci thinks Magic Johnson will be a like a point guard here. Verducci said Magic is the driving force behind this transition. “I think he’s going to establish the culture of who the Dodgers are,” Verducci said.
