Seth Davis says Kentucky validates one-and-done philosophy; Calipari likely to stay at Kentucky
Sports Illustrated’s Seth Davis joined the show to talk about the NCAA title game and more.
Davis tried to put Kentucky’s championship into perspective. “This Kentucky team is going to go down in history [as the] validation of the [one-and-done] philosophy,” Davis said.
Davis doesn’t think that John Calipari will leave Kentucky for the NBA. “You’d be hard-pressed to find a job in the NBA that’s better than the job he has,” Davis said.
Davis said that he has all the possible advantages at Kentucky, and he thinks Cal would say this is his last job.
Davis said that he has no discomfort for the one and done. He pointed to Anthony Davis as an example of how the system can work. Davis thinks Davis is the “American Dream.”
