Steve Kerr: Anthony Davis is a potential MVP-type in NBA
Hoops analyst Steve Kerr joined the show to talk about the national title game.
“The quality of play is not what it was 15 to 20 years ago,” Kerr said, “when you had teams that were able to grow together.”
Kerr said there was no doubt Anthony Davis is the best pro prospect in the nation right now. He said Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is a great player, but not nearly the same kind of NBA prospect.
Kerr said that Davis is a potential MVP candidate in the NBA. “I’m just blown away by his skill set,” Kerr said. “There’s pretty much nothing he can’t do.”
Kerr said that Davis will be a four, who can slide over to five against a smaller team. Kerr thinks he’ll be able to step out and hit threes in the future.
