C.J. Wilson addresses Rangers not spending their money on him
Angels pitcher C.J. Wilson joined the show to talk about his new home and more.
Dan asked Wilson if he was upset the Rangers spent so much on Yu Darvish and didn’t invest in him. He said it’s their money and they can spend it how they want. He was just frustrated by how they went about it.
“The only thing I was upset about is that they said they were going to make an offer and they didn’t,” Wilson said. “So it was kind of a waste of my time.”
Wilson talked about Tweeting out Mike Napoli’s number as a prank. Wilson said he meant it to be funny. “Sometimes when you take a risk like that, you risk negative feedback,” Wilson said.
Dan asked Wilson which stadium is toughest to pitch in. Wilson went with Cincinnati and Yankee Stadium.
