Costas: Selig photo with Castro does not make MLB hypocritical
MLB Network host Bob Costas joined the show to talk about Ozzie Guillen’s suspension and more.
Costas is in Philly to call the Marlins-Phillies game and said he was going to sit down with Guillen for an hour, but now that won’t happen. Costas said the Marlins feel they’ve addressed the issues and don’t need Guillen to sit down with MLB Network.
Dan asked Costas about commissioner Bud Selig appearing in a photo with Fidel Castro. Costas does not think a photo-op makes MLB hypocritical in this sense.
Costas also weighed in on Ryan Seacrest working on NBC’s Olympic coverage. He and Dan are not sure what Seacrest will do, but they are looking forward to it.
