Kevin Millar weighs in on Ozzie Guillen, Stephen Strasburg and Johnny Damon
MLB Network’s Kevin Millar joined the show to talk about the big stories in baseball and more.
Millar weighed in on Ozzie Guillen. Millar said he played in Miami and has played with Cuban players and he was very upset with what happened. “There were so many massive wounds that were opened by a stupid statement,” Millar said.
Millar said that the Washington Nationals’ pitch limit on Stephen Strasburg is ridiculous. “This kid is strong,” Millar said. “If you’re a player on the team, you have a chance to win. They’re going to need Stephen to throw more than 165 innings.”
Millar commented on his former teammate Johnny Damon, who just signed with Cleveland. “He is one of the greatest teammates of all time,” Millar said. “I don’t know why it took so long for him to sign.”
