Mike Triplett explains why Saints owner supports GM Loomis
New Orleans Times-Picuyane’s Mike Triplett joined the show to talk about allegations that the Saints could hear opponents’ communication.
“If this proves to be true, I think the Saints will be in for a lot of hurt,” Triplett said. “Right now it doesn’t seem like they’ll get a lot of corroboration from Saints officials.”
Triplett tried to explain why they haven’t signed Drew Brees yet, even though they need good press. “The Saints are going to great length to make sure they don’t overreact,” Triplett said.
Triplett said owner Tom Benson supports GM Mickey Loomis because he can go head-to-head with Brees’ agent Tom Condon.
