Robert Griffin III addresses report he’s ‘selfish’
Robert Griffin III joined the show to talk about the upcoming Draft and all the excitement this week.
Griffin talked about allegations in a report that he’s “selfish.”
“Everybody has words,” Griffin said. “Everybody has opinions. People who know me know who I am. …. You can be determined. But when they say your selfish, it’s kind of iffy.”
Dan asked Griffin if he thinks he’ll be starting Week 1. “I would love to be the starting quarterback for the Washington Redskins in week 1,” Griffin said.
Dan asked if he thinks that the Colts considered taking him at some point. “I like to believe that there was,” Griffin said. “You keep the world as big as possible.”
Griffin said that the NFL has already told him he’ll be allowed to use the Roman Numeral III on the back of his jersey.
