Brian Billick breaks down top picks in NFL Draft

FOX and NFL Network analyst Brian Billick joined the show to talk about the NFL Draft.

Billick said he can’t remember a one-two situation with quarterbacks with less questions than Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III.

Billick said that the Vikings are now in full rebuilding mode and can see why they’d want to trade down and get more picks. But that’s not what he’d do. “I think they ought to take Matt Kalil,” Billick said. “You don’t trade out of a blue-chip spot.”

Billick had interesting comments on Justin Blackmon. He said in workouts you’re not totally impressed. But then you look at the film again and Blackmon is a beat. Billick said that Floyd is the opposit. He looks incredible in a workout and you look at film and “you come away a little wanting.”

Billick talked about the process and said that it’s now a general managers league. Some coaches have the final say (like Mike Shanahan and Bill Belichik). And some owners have final say and use it (Jerry Jones).
