Rich Eisen recaps Draft, explains why it moved so fast

NFL Network host Rich Eisen joined the show to talk about covering the Draft last night.

Eisen said that this was the first rookie salary cap Draft, and there were a lot of trades. That meant teams knew who they wanted, so they moved quickly.

“That created a lot of logjam at the Commissioner’s table,” Eisen said. “That was the quickest first round in three hours flat.”

Eisen said he wasn’t sure whether to talk about the current pick or the trades he could see happening right behind him that were a few picks ahead.

Eisen said the most questionable pick in the Draft was pass-rusher Bruce Irvin at No. 15 to the Seahawks, and the 49ers taking receiver A.J. Jenkins at No. 30.
