Scott Brooks has update on Harden’s health, previews Mavs series
Oklahoma City Thuner coach Scotty Brooks joined the show to talk about the playoffs.
Brooks said Harden will practice today and is ready to go. Brooks said he didn’t see the play live, but he’s just glad Harden is OK.
Brooks talked about guarding Dirk Nowitzki. He said they broke down the tape to figure out how to slow him, and they didn’t figure it out. “There’s no way we can get closer to that shot,” Brooks said.
Brooks said that the best team they’ve faced is the San Antonio Spurs. “They play with no agenda, and the entire team does that,” Brooks said.
Brooks told a great story of trying to warm up as a young player when Larry Bird was warming up for the Celtics. He said that Bird was using both hoops, and he wasn’t sure what to do.
