Bob Costas weighs in on Dan stealing his Emmy
NBC’s Bob Costas joined the show to talk about the Sports Emmys and more.
Costas had no problem with Dan going to the Podium to accept his Sports Emmy. “Why do people want to hear my 23rd speech?” Costas said.
Costas weighed in on a number of MLB topics, including Ryan Braun’s power expolosion last night. Costas said that Braun’s best defense was always that his numbers never spiked. He said that Braun may be OK in the long term, because he’ll have plenty of time before the end of his career.
Costas said the only card he saved from his youth was a Mickey Mantle that is worth a lot, but he won’t give it up.
