Jered Weaver talks about no-hitter superstitions

Los Angeles Angels pitcher Jered Weaver joined the show after throwing a no-hitter on Wednesday.

Weaver said once he got the first out in the ninth inning, it hit him that it’s possible where he was headed.

Weaver talked about the superstition that you can’t go to the bathroom if you’re in the middle of a no-hitter. He said he had to break it because nature called.

Weaver said that he tried to mess around with the guys as much as possible, even though some of them were avoiding him.

Weaver said he’s working on a gift for his catcher and it’s more than like a watch.

Weaver said that this start has been tough for the Angels. “Everybody’s very happy the month is over,” Weaver said.
