Mike Florio weighs in on NFLPA appeal, Jets QB situation, Hard Knocks

Profootballtalk.com and NBC NFL analyst Mike Florio joined the show to have the latest on Jonathan Vilma and more.

Florio said that the NFLPA appeal is aiming to get the appeal process away from Roger Goodell and they’re arguing actions before the current CBA don’t fall under the current administration’s jurisdiction.

Florio also said that the NFL may release some of the evidence of the Saints’ bounties, but they’re going to black out names. Florio thinks that they’re being way too sensitive to protect the informants.

Florio also weighed in on the Jets QB situations. He said that they got Tim Tebow in part to motivate Mark Sanchez.

Florio talked about HBO’s Hard Knocks and said that it looks like HBO won’t get a team that we’re all interested in. Florio said that wouldn’t work because of all the offseason drama … you can’t just not address one of these huge offseason story lines in that series.
