Mike Bianchi thinks Dwight Howard likely wants out of Orlando
Orlando Sentinel columnist Mike Bianchi joined the show to talk about Stan Van Gundy getting fired and more.
Dan asked Bianchi what the plan is in Orlando. “The plan is to do anything to please Dwight Howard to get him to sign a contract extension,” Bianchi said. “The Magic have to try to keep him to remain viable as a franchise.”
Bianchi shared his hunch on Howard, noting he doesn’t have any specific information. “I think Dwight Howard just wants to get out of Orlando right now,” Bianchi said. “If he had his druthers, I think he wants to go to Brooklyn.”
But Bianchi thinks Howard needs to open up the list of teams he wants to go to to make it easier to deal him.
Bianchi said there’s a fear in Orlando that the Magic could turn into the Sacramento Kings and be irrelevant.
