Brent Barry on slowing LeBron in ’07 and Thunder growing

NBA TV’s Brent Barry joined the show to talk about both conference finals. Here are some of his takes:

— Brent Barry looked back at the 2007 Finals, when he was on the Spurs and they beat LeBron James’ Cavaliers in four games.

“There were things defensively we could do to take him out of his comfort zone and there wasn’t the same level of talent around him,” Barry said. According to Barry, that Cavs team was a little bit ahead of itself reaching the Finals.

— Barry said that the Thunder fixed some defensive things in Game 5 that they hadn’t done. He said Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant’s effort on defense has been impressive.
