Colt McCoy talks about QB competition in Cleveland

Cleveland Browns quarterback Colt McCoy joined the show to talk about the quarterback competition in Cleveland with rookie Brandon Weeden.

“From my perspective, I don’t want to make this about me vs. another guy,” McCoy said. “I’d much rather talk about what’s going to help the Browns win football games.”

McCoy noted this is his first offseason in the NFL because of the Lockout, so he’s learning a lot too, just like Weeden.

Dan asked if the QB job is open. McCoy would only say he feels good about how he’s playing and the way the offense is playing.

Dan asked McCoy about the James Harrison that caused a season-ending concussion. McCoy said he’s seen it many times, but he doesn’t remember anything from it. McCoy said he’s recovered and hasn’t experienced any symptons. “My body feels as good as it’s felt in a long time,” McCoy said.
