Mark-Paul Gosselaar talks about Saved by the Bell
Mark-Paul Gosselaar joined the show to talk about Saved by the Bell and Franklin and Bash and more.
Gosselaar said he’s not sure how Saved by the Bell has such a long shelf life. He said they thought it was going to be canceled every week.
Gosselaar said that he got ripped recently because he admitted the writing wasn’t very good. “That show was awesome,” Gosselaar said. “It did exactly what it was supposed to.”
Gosselaar said that he did have problems getting past Zach in his career. There was a dry spell. Then it took off when he got cast in NYPD Blue.
