Patrick Ewing on Dream Team, Jordan’s trash-talking, why he didn’t get Bobcats job
Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing joined the show to talk about the Dream Team documentary and more.

Ewing had funny comments on Michael Jordan’s trash-talking. He said that Jordan constantly reminds him that he never beat him and won a title. He said Jordan gave him grief from the day he met him back when they were in college.
Dan asked Ewing why he didn’t get the Bobcats job. “I really don’t know,” Ewing said.
Ewing said that Jordan called him and said he was going to look for someone with more experience. But Ewing thinks recent criticism he’s gotten may have factored in. “He was getting so much grief for hiring people he had a personal relationship with,” Ewing said.
Ewing said he doesn’t know where he’s going to coach next year. And he said it remains to be seen where Dwight Howard will play. Ewing said he didn’t think Howard would be there last year in Orlando.
