David Feherty breaks down U.S. Open and comments on Tiger’s future
CBS Sports, Golf Channel and GOLF Magazine analyst David Feherty joined the show to talk about Webb Simpson’s win on U.S. Open.
Feherty detailed how hard the course was and how fast the greens were. “It’s hard to describe the difficulty. If you put the average golfer 20 feet from the hole 18 times, he’d have 40, 50 putts,” Feherty said.
Feherty said that Tiger’s not there yet, but he still thinks he’s showing signs. Feherty still pointed out that Tiger probably has 40 more chances to win four majors and catch Jack Nicklaus’ record. “It looks a lot more likely then it did a year ago,” Feherty said.
Feherty agreed with Dan that Webb Simpson is a very promising golfer and has a great golf name. Feherty then shared some fake golf names we can’t repeat here.
