Metta World Peace says he doesn’t know if he’ll be back with Lakers

Lakers forward Metta World Peace joined the show to talk about the playoffs and more.

Dan asked World Peace if he thinks he’ll be back with the Lakers next season. “I don’t want to plan that far ahead,” World Peace said. “I try to enjoy my summers. … I don’t really pay attention in the summer.”

World Peace doesn’t think the Lakers need to fix anything.  “We don’t need any changes,” World Peace said. “I think we have the best team.”

World Peace said all the pieces are there. “We have the best team in the NBA,” World Peace said. “We just need to play together in a more consistent way.”

One thing World Peace noted — Andrew Bynum needs to play at his best all game.

World Peace offered his thoughts on why Oklahoma City fell short. “They stopped running together,” World Peace said. “After a while, I thought they were too young.”
