Dara Torres talks about missing out on Olympics, says it’s time to retire
Olympic legend Dara Torres joined the show to talk about her effort to make the Olympic team and more.
Dan asked her reaction when she realized she finished fourth in qualifiers and wouldn’t be on the team. “I was shocked,” Torres said.
Torres said this was her last time trying to qualify for the Olympics. “It’s been a great run, but it’s time to retired,” Torres said.
Torres weighed in Michael Phelps as well. She said his decision to pull out of one event was a sign that it’s tougher as it gets older. She said that many events weighs on your body.
