Mark Teixeira shares secrets of Yankees clubhouse

Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira joined the show to talk about his season and much more.

Dan asked Teixeira for his take on the etiquette of watching a home run. Teixeira said that he doesn’t do that because he respects the pitchers too much. “The pitcher isn’t going to dance around every time he strikes me out,” Teixeira said.

Teixera shared some interesting tidbits about the clubhouse. He said the pitcher usually has control of the music, but Nick Swisher gets in the Yankees’ clubhouse. Dan asked Teixeira why not Jeter. Teixeira said that he doesn’t control music, but Jeter is a lot of fun. He said they’re not afraid to make fun of Jeter even though he’s the elder statesman.
