Al Michaels talks about his history of covering Olympics

NBC broadcaster Al Michaels joined the show to talk about the upcoming Olympics.

Dan asked if he could watch one event, which would it be. Michaels said the 100 meter dash final.He said he covered track at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and loved it ever since. He said he covered it with an all-star cast, including O.J. Simpson, Wilma Rudolph, Skeets Nehemiah and Dwight Stones.

Michaels thinks this year’s 100-meter field is going to be very exciting with everyone chasing Usain Bolt.

Michaels also taled about not being able to get the song “England Swings” out of his head. And he wasn’t aware he had to share a flat with Dan, Ryan Seacrest and Bob Costas — Real World-style.
