Joe Philbin comments on Ryan Tannehill, presence of Hard Knocks cameras
Miami Dolphins coach Joe Philbin joined guest host Joe Philbin to talk about the upcoming season.
Philbin said he’s happy Ryan Tannehill is in camp, and that the rookie QB played well in his first practice over the weekend.
Mike asked Philbin his thoughts on sitting rookie QBs and let them learn for a while. “I don’t know that’s the right blueprint for every quarterback in the NFL,” Philbin said.
Mike asked Philbin what impact Hard Knocks has had. “Literally none to me,” Philbin said, even though he said there were cameras on him as he was talking. Philbin said he took the mic home by accident the other day. And Philbin said that NFL Films isn’t really interested in their strategies, and it’s not like “we’re curing cancer with our schemes.”
