Jeff Legwold says Peyton surprisingly emotional after first preseason game

Denver Post reporter Jeff Legwold joined the show to talk about Peyton Manning’s first game with the Broncos.

Legwold said that Peyton was in great spirits after the game and let people in a little more than usual. “He was a lot more happy about it than maybe people expected,” Legwold said. “He kind of went into a thank you note to all the trainers nad people who have helped. I think he’s a lot more excited about playing then he let on.”

Legwold said some miss Tim Tebow, but a lot of people are fired up. He said that people now think the Broncos are going to be at the “big boys table” at the end of the year.

Legwold thinks that the key is defense, noting defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio is the seventh coordinator in seven years.
