Jon Wertheim weighs in on impact of Bolt’s performance
Sports Illustrated’s Jon Wertheim joined the show to talk about the Olympics from London.
Wertheim was blown away by Usain Bolt. “This is a guy who is sustaining an entire sport,” Wertheim said. Wertheim noted that Bolt has a great personality too. Wertheim said that Bolt will come out of this as the most marketable athlete.
Wertheim argued that Michael Phelps had a lot more opportunities for gold than other athletes. In most sports, if you’re the best, you get one or two gold medals
