Eli Manning on Hakeem Nicks’ health, Peyton’s start and Giants’ attitude

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning joined the show to talk about the upcoming season and more.

Eli talked about his star receiver Hakeem Nicks coming back from a broken foot. “He’s right where he needs to be,” Manning said. “I think he’s good to go.” But Manning said Nicks could probably look at tape and get some reminders on little things — noting that’s always the case with every player.

Eli talked about avoiding complacency after winning the Super Bowl. “We’ve worked this offseason like we were 7-7,” Manning said. “We have tons of room for improvement.”

Eli also commented on his brother Peyton’s performance. He talked about his pride when he saw them perform. “I’m proud of him … for how hard he’s worked to get back,” Eli said.
