Matt Ryan says Falcons defense improved, weighs in on college football
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan joined the show to talk about the upcoming season and more.
Dan asked Ryan to make a case for the Falcons making the Super Bowl. He said that the defense should be much better under new coordinator Mike Nolan. He said adding Asante Samuel really solidifies the secondary.
Ryan talked about the explosion of passing yards. He said he thinks that someone can throw for 6,000 yards in a season.
Ryan talked about his college football career. He said it basically came down to Iowa and Boston College. He chose B.C. because it was closer to his family.
Dan asked Ryan why rookie QBs are suddenly doing so well in the NFL. “The amount of time college athletes are spending on campus working with the coaches is probably as much as NFL players right now,” Ryan said.
