Rich Eisen says Tate’s hit was illegal, comments on Broncos-Texans
NFL Network host Rich Eisen joined the show to talk about the Panthers-Giants matchup and more.
Eisen weighed on Golden Tate’s hit on Sean Lee. “Within the rule book, that is an illegal hit,” Eisen said. He also said that there’s more than just the rule book. There’s also unwritten rules and Tate needed to chill instead of celebrating that big hit.
Eisen also weighed in on the Denver-Houston game. Eisen said the Texans need the win more than the Broncos to prove they’re an elite team.
Eisen had an interesting note on the NYG-Car game: the Panthers are 6-3 when Cam Newton runs for over 50 yards and have only won once when he hasn’t.
