Christian Ponder says Vikings better than people think
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder joined the show to talk about their big win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
Ponders said he didn’t consider beating the Niners an upset. “We know we have a good team,” Ponder said. “People outside the organization don’t, but we do.”
Dan asked how different he is this year compared to last year. “Very different,” Ponder said. “I’m just so much more comfortable and confident with what I’m doing.”
Ponder said maybe the team is more relaxed leading up to the game when they’re underdogs, but he doesn’t think they Vikings will sneak up on anyone moving forward.
Dan asked Ponder the best quarterback in the League. He said Matt Ryan is on fire and playing the best football — even better than Aaron Rodgers right now since the Falcons are 3-0.
