Ian Poulter talks about Europe’s dramatic Ryder Cup win
European Ryder Cup golfer Ian Poulter joined the show to talk about their dramatic victory over the U.S. this weekend.
Poulter said the Europeans certainly didn’t think they had the edge before coming back on Sunday. Dan asked what U.S. golfer scared them.
“I don’t think there was one I think the whole team,” Poulter said. “We knew they were very, very strong and they had stronger partnerships than we had. They could put a longer hitter with a shorter hitter. They seemed to out power us on the golf course in those early sessions.”
Poulter did confirm that the Europeans celebrated and reiterated how proud they were about this victory.
