Cal Ripken Jr. previews playoffs, says Cabrera has earned MVP
Hall of Famer and TBS analyst Cal Ripken Jr. joined the show to talk about the playoff race and more.
Ripken weighed in on the AL MVP race and said you have to give the MVP to Miguel Cabrera if he wins the Triple Crown. Ripken thinks winning should be a big factor. Ripken said that he won an MVP with a losing team and admitted he wasn’t sure why.
Ripken also commented on the playoffs. He said anyone who thinks they know who is going to win in the American League doesn’t know what they’re talking about because every team has significant strengths.
