Texans quarterback Matt Schaub on ear injury, backing up Vick
Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub joined the show to talk about his season and more.
Schaub looked back at the hit by the Broncos’ Joe Mays that cost him part of his ear. “I didn’t even really know he was coming,” Schaub said. “I felt someone coming from right in front of me and I was really bracing for that hit when I let go of the ball.”
“It really wasn’t that much of my ear,” Schaub said. “It was a pretty good laceration.”
Schaub looked back at being the back-up to Michael Vick. “I just had to get my running shoes on and get ready to play that role,” Schaub said.
