Les Miles on Honey Badger, fellow SEC coaches, impact of four-team playoff

LSU coach Les Miles joined the show to talk about his season and more.

Dan asked Miles his thoughts on Tyrann Mathieu’s future after Sports Illustrated. “I think there are some things that can be very productive in his life and I hope he pursues them aggressively,” Miles said.

Dan asked what advice he gave the Honey Badger when he left the team. “To develop the style of man he wants to be,” Miles said. “If he does that hell every opportunity to do what he wants to do.”

Dan asked Miles how he gets along with the other SEC coaches. He said he really doesn’t have a problem with any of them.  But, there’s a limit. “I don’t think anyone’s going to take the opportunity to go vacationing with each other,” Miles said.

Miles had interesting comments on when college football goes to a four-team playoff. He actually thinks it will be just as argumentative. He likes that fans will have more college football at the end of the season.
