Aaron Rodgers comments on state of Packers, talks about meeting Montana, golfing with Jordan

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers joined the show to talk his season and more.

Dan asked if Rodgers knows how good this team is. “We have the potential to be a great team,” Rodgers said. “We’re trying to figure out what it means to be consistent.”

Rodgers wouldn’t say anything about Jermichael Finley’s comments about chemistry problems. Rodgers said that they try to keep that stuff in house.

Rodgers said he’s glad he plays in Green Bay and New York. Rodgers said the fans are friendly in Green Bay, but the media needs negative stories.

Dan asked if there was one defensive player he immediately made eye contact one when he got to the line. “It used to be Jared Allen when he had the mullet,” Rodgers said.

Rodgers talked about growing up a 49ers fan, but he said he turned in his fan card on April 23, 2005. But he talked about the thrill of meeting Joe Montana. Rodgers also talked about getting to know Michael Jordan through golf and how much fun that has been.
