Paul O’Neill says Yankees fed off each other ‘in negative way’
YES Network analyst Paul O’Neill joined the show to talk about the Yankees’ disappointing ALCS.
O’Neill said that the Tigers peaked at the right time and there was a unified team — the total opposite of the Yankees.
O’Neill said that the Yankees veteran hitters looked like they didn’t have a plan. “It’s almost as if this team fed off each other in a negative way and everybody came down,” O’Neill said.
O’Neill isn’t sure if Alex Rodriguez will ever be able to play successfully in New York again and that the fans will be tough on him.
