Mitch Williams likes Tigers in six, comments on Ozzie Guillen
MLB Network’s Mitch Williams joined the show to talk about the World Series and more.
Williams says the Tigers want the matchup against the Giants because they can get those left-handed batters with the change-up.
Williams said that Giants Game 1 starter Barry Zito got away with a lot of mistakes in the NLCS and there’s no way he can get away with them against the Tigers lineup.
Williams likes the Tigers in six. But he says that the Tigers can’t jump out to a lead and then let up — like the Cardinals and the Reds did.
Williams talked about the Marlins firing Ozzie Guillen, who he’s known since he was a teenager. He said that whatever Ozzie is thinking, he will say: “Ozzie hasn’t changed since I was 17 and he was 18 … you’re going to love him or you’re going to hate him.”
