Eddie George handicaps Heisman race

FOX’s Eddie George joined the show to talk about the Heisman race and much more.

George said so far this season Kansas State and Oregon are the most impressive teams he’s seen this season.

Dan asked George where he’s leaning for his Heisman vote. George said Geno Smith was the early front-runner, but now Collin Klein is No. 1. He said that Klein is the “steady-Eddie” of that group. George put Manti T’eo second. And George said Oregon running back Kenjon Barner is third, but could move up. He said Barner could be a top-five pick right now.

George said even if Ohio State was eligible for a bowl, he wouldn’t put the Buckeyes up there with the elite teams, because their defense isn’t good. And they need more talent at receiver.

Dan asked George the most impressive stadium he played at when he was at Ohio State. He said Madison, Wisc., is the best.
