Blake Griffin talks about his evolving game, T.O. wanting to play for Clippers

Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin joined the show to talk about his season and more.

Griffin addressed the rep he had for “only being able to dunk” early in his career. Griffin said that he dunked because it was the best way he could score, and that’s all he wanted to do.

Dan asked Griffin if a lot of people ask about the Lakers. He said he gets a lot of drive-by shouts saying things like “Go Lakers.”

Griffin talked about new flopping rules. He said he hasn’t even gotten warned yet.

Griffin talked a little about his old football playing days in high schoo. He said sometimes he wishes he had continued his career. He said he played receiver. But now he’s glad he went basketball.

Griffing did say football players talk a lot about playing hoops. And that Terrell Owens hung around the Clippers facility and “begged them for a 10-day contract.”
