Rich Eisen says NFL should not expand playoffs

NFL Network host Rich Eisen joined the show to talk about the big stories this week.

Eisen weighed in on some proposals the NFL has put out there for major changes.

“I just hope expanding the playoffs is not one of those ideas,” Eisen said. He said teams like the Browns and Jets would get in and that’s just not right.

Eisen said that he believes they will not add teams. He thinks a team in London causes so many competitive issues with the travel. However, he thinks Los Angeles will get a team. But it will be one of the existing 32 teams.

Eisen also weighed in on the MVP race. He said that as great as Adrian Peterson has been, it has to go to Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. And he leans toward Brady. “He is overlooked because of [Bill] Belichick,” Eisen said.
