Bryce Harper explains why he’s never run into trouble with stardom at young age

Washington Nationals star Bryce Harper (@Bharper3407)  joined the show to talk about the All-Stare Game and more.

Harper said that he decided when he was 10 or 11 years old if he was ever going to be in the Home Run Derby, his father was going to pitch to him.

“He’s 205 pounds and ripped out of his mind,” Harper said.

Harper is also very impressed by his brother’s Rollie Fingers mustache.

Harper said he’s hitting ninth tonight, and he hopes that means he doesn’t have to pitch. He said he’s never hit ninth in his life.

Harper talked why he has never got anywhere near the traps of fame. “I got a great group of guys on my team,” Harper said. “I have a great family. Support at home. Being able to have fun when I’m playing. Be a good person on and off the field.”

Harper also said that he’s been doing this for a while, even though he’s still so young.
