Peter King says Ray Lewis’ Super Bowl claim doesn’t make sense
TheMMQB.com’s Peter King joined the show to talk about the big storylines around the NFL.
King said Ray Lewis’ claim that the NFL turned off the lights at the Superdome “is worth nothing more than a chortle.” He said that’s part of the ethos of the NFL — players always look for a “It doesn’t surprise me a player would say that,” King said. “The only surprise is how much attention it’s getting.”
King weighed in on Terrelle Pryor. He said that the Raiders are looking for a spark and want to give Pryor a shot. He worked with a QB coach in the offseason and they’re hopeful he’ll make strides.
King talked about mobile quarterbacks in general. He said that it’s a great weapon as long as they’re careful when they’re out of the pocket.
