Mike Florio breaks down Josh Freeman situation in Tampa
Profootballtalk’s Mike Florio joined the show to talk about Josh Freeman’s issue in Tampa Bay and more from around the NFL.
Dan asked Florio if any teams would want Freeman to help out this season. “I don’t think so,” Florio said. “You’d have to find someone who runs the exact same offense.”
Florio also weighed in on Houston’s Matt Schaub. He said that Schaub is 32, and you know his up-side at this point.
Florio also explainged why the Raiders and Chargers will play at 11:35 ET because the Oakland A’s have a home game. Florio said that the NFL considered flipping home games, but opted for this instead. And he thinks the League may have found a way to push more football to fans by taking advantage of the West Coast prime time.
