Chris Mannix on Lakers future after Kobe extension
Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix joined the show to talk about Kobe Bryant’s contract extension. Mannix said that the Lakers seem to be in jeopardy of facing major defensive problems — with Nash and Kobe they couldn’t stop people with “three Dikembe Mutombo’s.” Mannix also had very interesting comments on Kevin Love. He said young stars don’t care as much about markets any more. They’d rather just win. Mannix also discussed the possibility John Calipari will want to return to the NBA.
