Tony Dungy: Peyton Manning doesn’t have issues with cold weather
NBC NFL analyst Tony Dungy joined the show to talk about the big stories coming out of Week 14.
Dungy commented on Peyton Manning getting fired up to prove he could play in the cold. “As soon as I saw the temperature, I said Tennessee is in trouble,” Dungy said.
Dungy explained that the idea Manning couldn’t play in the cold weather goes back to tough playoff losses to New England. “It was Rodney Harrison and the Patriots defense,” Dungy said. “The weather had nothing to do with it.”
Dungy commented on the Bengals as a potential Super Bowl team. “I like where the Bengals are,” Dungy said. “It’s gonna be up to Andy Dalton.”
Dungy talked about the problems with Mike Shanahan and the Redskins. “The more you see this team,” Dungy said, “I don’t know that it can be fixed.”
