Joe Torre argues Marvin Miller, George Steinbrenner should be in Hall
MLB executive Joe Torre joined the show to talk about the honor of being chosen to join the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Torre said he’s surprised union leader Marvin Miller didn’t make the cut for the Hall. He said he worked with Miller in the early days and he’s very deserving.
Torre also argued for George Steinbrenner. “The one thing you can never accuse George of is not putting money back into his ball team,” Torre said.
Torre also had an update on instant replay. “We’re going to expand replay,” Torre said. “We’re not going to open up the whole ball of wax. We’re going to go slow.”
Torre said the plan is to have a central location in New York to look at replays, but they still haven’t gone public with exactly how they’re going to do it.
